Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince Update Shipping In December
Artbox has informed us that it has pushed back the release of its Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Update set. Originally scheduled to arrive today, we now expect the set to arrive by December 23rd.
The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Update set includes 90 base set cards. Randomly inserted chase cards include autographs, costumes, and props. New autograph signers include Julie Walters (Molly Weasley), Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy), Dave Legeno (Fenrir Greyback), Frank Dillane (Tom Riddle), and Isabella Laughland (Leanne).
Artbox has also informed us that Film Cell cards will be randomly inserted in boxes (at a rate of approximately 3 cards per case). Each box will include a box topper card, and each 10-box case will include a lenticular case topper card. HeroClix Hammer of Thor and World of Warcraft Scourgewar Arrive
The new HeroClix expansion, Hammer of Thor, has arrived. The long-awaited expansion includes 60 new figures, including Thor as well as the heroes and villains of Asgard.
Booster cases include 20 packs (plus 2 Buy-It-By-The Brick Figures) and are $159. Or you can purchase a single brick (10 packs and 1 Buy-It-By-The-Brick Figure) for $89.
Scourgewar, the newest World of Warcraft expansion also arrived today. We have a limited number of boxes still available to ship before Thanksgiving. Booster boxes are $63 each.
Scourgewar introduces new mounts, keywords, and a new master hero - Kel'Thuzad. The Death Knight class is fully integrated with this expansion with new heroes, abilities, equipment, and dual-class cards included.
Three new loot cards are also randomly inserted in packs. The super common loot card is a mini mount, Tiny, that carries your character as fast as the character can run. Horde characters get a baby raptor version and Alliance characters get a pony version of the mount. Each card is redeemable for 50 uses. The uncommon loot card is the Tuskarr Kite. This coming January Topps is introducing a new game to the U.S. that is reportedly already a hit in Europe. WWE Slam Attax Evolution will include 186 cards. There are 130 cards in the base set, as well as 4 different types of insert cards: 16 Champion cards, 19 Finishing Move cards, 11 Title cards, and 10 Prop cards.
The set will include booster boxes (24 packs/8 cards each) and starter deck boxes (8 decks/21 cards + playmat each).
Yesterday marked the arrival of the very first Warhammer Invasion battle pack - The Skavenblight Threat. If you haven't placed your order for this long awaited set, we have plenty available for immediate shipment.

2010 Non-Sport Card Lineup Looks Amazing!
Wow! 2009 will be going out with a bang as Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Update set and Stargate Heroes set arrive in the coming weeks. But the lineup of non-sport trading card sets coming in early 2010 just keeps getting better and better.
A few weeks ago, when Rittenhouse announced plans to release a Lost: Seasons 1 Thru 5, it seemed to really catch collectors' attention. We are seeing a huge interest in this set already and it isn't scheduled to arrive until January 27th.
Yesterday, we discussed Rittenhouse's Women of Star Trek set that is scheduled to arrive on February 24th. With 3 autograph cards and 2 relic cards in every box, we aren't surprised that we've seen a lot of interest in this set after only one day. The list of autograph signers and characters who will have relic cards in the set is strong, and there are many more that haven't been announced yet.
We received one more detail about that set this morning. Customers pre-ordering 15 cases will receive a free Women of Star Trek Archive box!
In addition to those huge Rittenhouse releases, they've announced yet another! The Marvel 70th Anniversary trading card set is slated for a March 31st release. We've just added this one to our web site this morning. Every box will include 1 hand-drawn, color sketch card. The list of artists contributing to the set is impressive: Allison Sohn, Anthony Tan, Charles Hall, Andy Price, Chris Bradberry, John Haun, Kevin West, Axebone, Monte Moore, Rhiannon Owens, Sanna Umemoto, Sonny Strait, and more!
Each Marvel 70th Anniversary case will include one of three sequentially numbered Marvel Art cards. Customers pre-ording 6 cases will receive an exclusive color sketch card by Warren Martineck. A 9-case pre-order will yield customers a free Bob Layton color sketch card. An 18-case pre-order will be accompanied by a free Archive box that includes 30 random sketch cards!
So it's safe to say that Rittenhouse is looking at an exciting start to the new year with these three sets on the horizon. But you might ask, "Are there any other companies making non-sport cards in 2010?" Well, here's a hint at a set from Topps that we hope to have more information on in the coming days. Women of Star Trek Details Revealed
Lost Seasons 1 Thru 5 Update
VTES Heirs to the Blood Delayed Until Feb.
Rittenhouse Archives has announced that its Women of Star Trek set is scheduled to arrive on February 24th. Every box will include 3 autograph cards and 2 relic (costume) cards!
The 81-card base set covers all five Star Trek series. Autograph signers include Jeri Ryan, Nichelle Nichols, Kate Mulgrew, Famke Janssen, Joan Collins, and many more! Other chase cards include a 12-card Leading Ladies set, a 9-card Romantic Relationships set, and a 12-card Portrait Gallery set.
Each case will include a Sabrina Scharf (Miramanee) autograph card. Customers pre-ordering 3 cases receive a Nana Visitor/Terry Farrell dual autograph card. Customers pre-ordering 6 cases receive a Majel Barrett autograph card. We haven't heard whether there will be an archive box incentive yet, but we will post more information here as we receive it from Rittenhouse.
We found out today that the 6-case incentive for the upcoming Lost Seasons 1 Thru 5 set has been changed. Originally, it was going to be a Cheech Marin autograph card. Customers pre-ordering 6 cases will now receive an exclusive costume relic card with material worn by Evangeline Lilly.
According to White Wolf's web site, the manufacturer has delayed the release of the upcoming VTES: Heirs to the Blood expansion. We had expected the new set to arrive on December 2nd, but it looks like it won't be released now until February 3rd.
Existing customers who received our email earlier this week about our expected price increase on Heirs to the Blood should note that we won't be raising our prices after all. Those emails help us gauge how much product we need to have on hand for the release date. Since that date has been delayed significantly, the price increase will probably come some time in January now. We apologize for any confusion caused by this unexpected change. We had a number of customers asking us about the new Shadowfist Empire of Evil set today. Since we just received our initial shipment yesterday and sold out instantly, everyone was understandably wondering where it went.

Tomorrow is the official release date for the latest Yu-Gi-Oh expansion, Stardust Overdrive. You can still place your order and have it shipped tomorrow. Boxes are $60. Cases (12 boxes) are $707.

The first Shadowfist expansion to be released in more than two years, Empire of Evil, is expected to arrive within the next few weeks!
We are selling booster boxes for $65. Cases (6 boxes) are $390.

It's not too late to pre-order this new set and have it shipped on the release date.Hidden Arsenal includes 30 cards from the Duel Terminal arcade machine series, previously available only in Japan. Each pack contains 5 all-foil cards (1 secret rare and 4 super rares). Cards in the set include "Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" and "Mist Wurm." The set includes new cards for 5 deck types: X-Saber, Flamwells, Mist Valley, Worms, and Ice Barrier monsters.
We will be shipping the first Battle Spirits expansion, Rise of Angels next Friday, November 13th. Booster boxes are just $57 and cases (6 boxes) are $336.Each booster pack includes 8 cards - up to 6 common, up to 2 uncommon, and 1 of 3 rare card types. The three types of rares include - Rare (found 3:4 packs), Master Rare (found 1:5 packs), and X-Rare (found 1:23 packs). Rise of Angels introduces 115 new cards, as well a new land of Fairies controlled by yellow topaz core. Two new Yu-Gi-Oh sets are due to arrive in the coming weeks! We expect to ship Hidden Arsenal boosters by November 12th. Stardust Overdrive boosters are expected to ship by November 19th.

New Moon In Stock! - Pokemon Arceus, Yu-Gi-Oh & Bella Sara Tins In Stock!
We now have two different types of Twilight New Moon trading card boxes in stock! The New Moon set has been our most requested product since its release a few weeks ago, so we are excited to have additional boxes available for our customers.
We recently received a shipment of New Moon gravity feed boxes. As you can see, these are tall boxes that feed packs out through the botom of the box. Each box contains 36 packs. Each pack includes 6 cards. Boxes are just $99.
We received a small shipment of regular New Moon boxes today as well. There are 24 packs per box and 6 cards per pack in these boxes. They are just $72.
It's a big day for new products! Pokemon Arceus has arrived and pre-orders have shipped. We have additional Arceus boosters available for $87 by the box and $515 by the case. Starters are $65/box.
The new Yu-Gi-Oh 2009 Series 2 tins have also arrived. Pre-orders are shipping today. We've been told that these tins are sold out at Konami, but we have a few cases left for $159/case.

Lost 1 Thru 5 Case Incentives Announced - Pokemon Arceus Releasing On Wednesday
A few new details about the upcoming Lost: Seasons 1 Thru 5 set have emerged.
Each case will include an autograph card signed by Kim Dickens as Cassidy Phillips. Customers pre-ordering 3 cases will receive a free Kate Austen Costume Relic card. Customers pre-ordering 6 cases will receive an exclusive Cheech Marin autograph card! As we reported last week, customers pre-ordering 15 cases will receive a free Lost: Seasons 1 Thru 5 Archive box!
