Spider-Man Archives 9-Case Incentive Announced! - Lost Seasons 1 Thru 5 Coming in '10
Rittenhouse Archives provided us with some updated information on its upcoming Spider-Man Archives
Previously, we had been advertising the 6-case incentive card as a hand-painted card by Jason Portratz and Jack Hai. Apparently the 6-case incentive cards will now be painted in water-color/gouache by John Haun.
The best news we received was that Rittenhouse has added a 9-case incentive. Customers pre-ordering 9 cases now receive a free hand-painted card from Andy Price, who did the 3-case incentives for the X-Men Archives set.
Rittenhouse also announced that the Archive box (which is free to customers who pre-order 18 cases!) will include 30
random sketch cards!
The revised release date for Spider-Man Archives is October 28th. Previously, we'd been told that this set would arrive a week earlier on October 21st. This set is selling very well, and we expect customers to be even more interested after hearing today's news. If you are considering pre-ordering Spider-Man Archives, don't hesitate. We fully expect Rittenhouse to sell out of this product before it hits shelves.
In other non-sport trading card news, Rittenhouse has posted an announcement on its web site that it will be releasing a Lost Seasons 1 Thru 5 trading card set next February. This is one of the first former Inkworks properties that we've seen picked up by another company. One of the others being Ghost Whisperer
, which is being produced by Breygent. We are accepting pre-orders for Ghost Whisperer Seasons 1 & 2 now. Based on the success of Inkworks' Lost sets, we would expect Rittenhouse's upcoming set to be very popular. Drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or click here
and submit your email address to be notified when we begin taking pre-orders for Lost Seasons 1 Thru 5.
